PIR (polyisocyanurate) is an improvment of previously used PUR boards (polyurethane).

Compared with other traditional insulating materials, this type of insulation offer more
advantages and over its useful life will save more energy than was used to make it!
Most popular type of PIR insulation board is made from a rigid PIR insulation coresandwiched
between two high perfomance aluminium foil facings to create a tough light weight insulation
board that will reduct the overall cost to bulid.

Durability of ecoPIR boards is determined for al least 50 years!

Advantages:

– Optimal performance at loe thickness. The ecoPIR has the highest efficiency per m2. For the
reason you will obtain a higher insulation value with a thinner board thickness compared to other
insulating materials (EPS, XPS and mineral wood). The ecoPIR will allow you to optimally use
the space available on the floor, roof or recess.
– Lightweight: 32kg/m3 makes ecoPIR a light insulation and this brings futher benefits to your
investment – savings on transport and no need to use heavy equipment on bulding area.
– Fireproof: The ecoPIR fire classification is at level B, class s2, d0 (end use). It sustains small
amounts of smoke and does not melt or drip.
– Moisture-insensitive: the absorption of water by ecoPIR is at very low level. It is also resistant to
decay and mold. This gives the insulation value retention in all conditions.
